A Two-Party Protocol with Trusted Initializer for Computing the Inner Product

چکیده
We propose the first protocol for securely computing the inner product modulo an integerm between two distrustful parties based on a trusted initializer, i.e. a trusted party that interacts with the players solely during a setup phase. We obtain a very simple protocol with universally composable security. As an application of our protocol, we obtain a solution for securely computing linear equations.

A Two-Party Protocol with Trusted Initializer for Computing the Inner Product
We propose the first protocol for securely computing the inner product modulo an integer m between two distrustful parties based on a trusted initializer, i.e. a trusted party that interacts with the players solely during a setup phase. We obtain a very simple protocol with universally composable security. As an application of our protocol, we obtain a solution for securely computing linear equ...
متن کاملA traceable optimistic fair exchange protocol in the standard model
An Optimistic Fair Exchange (OFE) protocol is a good way for two parties to exchange their digital items in a fair way such that at the end of the protocol execution, both of them receive their items or none of them receive anything. In an OFE protocol there is a semi-trusted third party, named arbitrator, which involves in the protocol if it is necessary. But there is a security problem when a...
متن کاملBetter Privacy for Trusted Computing Platforms
The trusted computing group (TCG) specified two protocols that allow a trusted hardware device to remotely convince a communication partner that it is indeed a trusted hardware device. In turn, This enables two communication partners to establish that the other end is a secure computing platform and hence it is safe exchange data. Both these remote identification protocols provide some degree o...
متن کاملBehavioral Identification of Trusted Third Party in Secure Multiparty Computing Protocol
We present a solution for identification and reduction of malicious conduct by Trusted Third parties (TTPs) in Secure Multiparty Computing Protocol. This paper also proposes a secured protocol for computation and defines encryption to be performed before sending inputs for computation. Our protocol uses eenvelopes for sharing keys between parties and TTPs. This key sharing is done on the basis ...
متن کاملNonrepudiation Protocols Without a Trusted Party
A nonrepudiation protocol from party S to party R performs two tasks. First, the protocol enables party S to send to party R some text x along with sufficient evidence (that can convince a judge) that x was indeed sent by S. Second, the protocol enables party R to receive text x from S and to send to S sufficient evidence (that can convince a judge) that x was indeed received by R. Almost every...
